Health Science Education is a secondary program of study that promotes health career opportunities to students in grades 9-12. Integration of health science courses, work-based learning experiences, HOSA-Future Health Professionals activities, and academics allow students to make informed decisions regarding an array of careers and educational pursuits.

Health Science Clinical Study is a course that guides students to make connections from the classroom to the healthcare industry through clinical experiences/activities.
Health Science 3 - Updated
Health Science 3 acquaints students with basic anatomy and physiology of the human body. Students learn how the human body is structured and the function of each of the 12 body systems.
Health Science 2 - Updated
Health Science 2 applies the knowledge and skills that were learned in Health Science 1 while further challenging the students to learn more about the healthcare field.
Health Science 1 - Updated
Health Science 1 is the first of four courses offered to students interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. In this first course students are provided an overview of healthcare history, cultural diversity, medical terminology, medical math, infection control, basics of the organization of healthcare facilities, and personal health and lifestyle choices.
Sports Medicine 3 - New
Sports Medicine 3 emphasizes the student’s ability to apply concepts from previous Sports Medicine course work to real-world situations and scenarios.
Sports Medicine 2 - Updated
Sports Medicine 2 emphasizes the recognition and care of common injuries and illnesses sustained by a physically active population.
Sports Medicine 1 - Updated
Sports Medicine 1 emphasizes sports medicine career exploration and the prevention of athletic injuries, including the components of exercise science, kinesiology, anatomy, principles of safety, first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and AED use.
